I don’t normally like to talk about myself, but figure you might not be interested in reading my book or my blog unless you know at least a teensy weensy bit about my life experiences and the focus of my writing. Above all else, I am loved and I am blessed. I can’t ask for much more than that. Well, I could, but it would make me seem so ungrateful…

I have an extraordinary family that brings me great joy. My husband took a risk on a girl he met at an Oakland Airport bus stop, and, well, we’ve been married for 20 years now.  We’re are empty nesters, unless, of course, you count the two cats and two dogs, and the thousands of dust bunnies that reside in nooks and crannies about the house. We’ve gone through more than our share of difficult times in just about every category imaginable. If I let enough time pass and maintain a robust sense of humor, everything becomes bearable and sometimes even funny. If you’re lucky, I’ll share some of those stories with you.
